Benjamin has been involved in a lot of teaching and training activities on research methodology and migration topics. at the University of Bonn, the German Academic Exchange Service or the German Institute of Development and Sustainability (IDOS). Furthermore, several guest lectures on climate change and human mobility were given at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, the University of Gottingen,  the University of Dusseldorf, the University of Groningen, the German embassies in Nigeria and Ethiopia, the University of Addis Ababa, the University of Ghana, the University of Development Studies (Ghana) or the University of Cape Coast.
